Do you feel broken Today? Well, if you are feeling like nothing is going right today. You are not alone as this year comes to the last few months. There are a lot of people feeling just like you. I know at times no one wants to hear your said stories. Your broken spirit is feeling like where can I go to get this worked out. First even if you are feeling like in this broken status you are thinking that life is not working out. Let me share with you I heard this quote in the last few weeks and I love it. “Crayons break but even a broken crayon still works.” I will add to this quote the yellow, orange, pink and red still shine as pretty and just as bright when you use them. The color is not broken. They just have been used and their structure is different. That as I think about broken crayons, you still can use them They will create a beautiful masterpiece. The creator of this beautiful masterpiece is working This picture out for. His glory.  The creator of this design did not give up on the broken crayon, the creator just knows that he or she needs to work with in the broken pieces. So, as yes, we are talking about broken crayons. I want you to think about your broken spirit today. It is not really broken the structure is simply different. Your creator knows he created you as a beautiful masterpiece. He is working all of your broken ends out for his Glory to show in your life. Just keep on believing, having faith, trust, and know. He created you for more then you could ever imagine. Take out your crayons today and if you have any that are broken. Create a bright, beautiful, masterpiece. Stick it on your refrigerator. Yes, as you do this. Every time you open that refrigerator door. Smile brightly for as your picture has made a beautiful masterpiece. You need to know God is orchestrating. Your broken spirit to shine bright. You need to remember he created a beautiful masterpiece when you were in your mother’s womb. You do not know the end of your story, but he does so even the broken parts in your life are being worked out for his Glory and even through him getting the Glory for it. Your broken spirit will be better for it. Just hold on for This broken spirit will come out better off in the end. Nothing that God has ever created is lost and void. If you honestly believe in him and lean on him for all. Let him be everything for you. I know he will take your broken spirit and tears and shine bright over you. For you will win at the end of your life for he is giving you everlasting life. With him were there is not one hurting in his home.

Dear heavenly Father,

Today I come boldly to your throne. I know we may feel so broken at times. For we do not know how things are going to unfold in our life. there are days especially when we just do not see the beautiful masterpiece you made in us. As we go through 2020 being shaken up by you. Your children know that nothing you do will go void. That you’re the creator of it all. so, while we may have broken spirits at times. We know you will work it out for us and for your glory. I just ask at this time as we are feeling so broken place a hedge of protection over us. Please do not let anyone steal our joy. I also pray that this world crisis ends soon, That the non-believer learns about you before it is too late. I do think you are giving us a big warning to seek you out. So, I pray whoever is on the edge of not believing that they see YOU ARE REAL AND TRUE to your word.

I love you and Thank You! For all of the broken crayons in my life. even more so because I know you created the beautiful Masterpiece in us for your glory.

In Jesus name Amen!

  1. God’s beautiful day Teresa,
Thanks for the blessing of broken crayons, which the Father still uses for His Glory!!!! I have a eulogy that I am preparing for tomorrow. I was wondering would it be ok if I prepared a portion of my message with some of the thoughts that I gleaned from this? This metaphor speaks volumes to me, and will surely bring comfort to this grieving family, especially his mother. It’s a powerful image that will speak well after the message has been spoken or even forgotten in a lot of ways. You’re book is captivating and very profound as well as practical. Well Done I can hear God say.

    1. Absolutely I would be honored if you’d use my words because they’re really not my words their words that I used from God he gave them to me I was just a vessel to bless anyone that needed those words so please feel free I will pray for this family as well and please tell them that my thoughts and prayers are with them at this hard time whatever they’re going through

  2. What a wonderful way to think about broken crayons! I always loved getting a new box of crayons, the points were so sharp, colors so vibrant, and the sheer joy of starting a new picture with them. As time goes on and the points are worn down, the paper peels off, and crayons are broken they still have the ability to create even more vibrant pictures and bring the same joy as when they were new. Never in my wildest dreams would I have equated broken crayons with what God has created for us but it has become clear what the message is with the crayons – even though we may feel broken at times just know that by God’s plan we are still able to move forward and create joy in life. Such a wonderful feeling and something to really think about.
