When one looks at what is going on right now in their life they may think they are in control of their path, but as a believer God is directing your path-steps. As much as I would like to control so much of what happens in my life. I am glad that God is really in control of it all. I am a believer so I have to realize that god’s ways are better than my ways. In Mathew 6;25 says “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
As I have shared with you a little of my life and soon will share the leap of faith that I have taken time and time again. I hope that you see that it is the same for you as long as you keep trusting, believing in him. The path may change but he never does. His glory will shine brighter and brighter for you with each journey (path) you take with him. I really pray that you learn to love and trust in the lord as I have. My path so far has not been an easy one but I can say no matter my ups or downs my life is truly blessed. As I am sure your path is one of total blessing as well. Just by doing life with me and seeing my leap of faith. I pray that you can trust in the Lord and his promises. I hope that I can be a shining light for him to open the door way for you to really know he is true and real. His promises will never fail you.
So, if your path-steps are not going the way you want just hold on keep praying, having faith. Patiently waiting on him also just know that god never promised an easy life for his children. Actually by going in and out of storms you can be reinsured that God is directing your path. He tells us this in Proverbs 3:6, “in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight
Not only is he directing your path he is drawing you closer to him. If you are asking how is he drawing you closer to him? I believe that when you are in a storm he is testing your faith to see if you draw closer to him especially if you cry out to him for help.
Again remember, he never promises an easy life for those who believe in him.
As he shows us in the bible with the disciples in a storm. Mark 4:37-41 “And a great windstorm arose, and the waves were breaking into the boat, so that the boat was already filling. 38 But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?” And he awoke and prebuked the wind and said to the sea Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith? ” And they were filled with great fear and said to one another, who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
These verses show that he is going to be there in the storms of life with us. These verses also show that all you need is a mustard seed of faith and he will get you through the storm of life. In Mathew 17: 20 he said, “because you have such little faith, he answered for truly I tell you if you have faith of the size of a mustard seed you can say to this mountain move from here to there and there will be nothing impossible”. That is a big promise that I truly believe with all of my heart. He also provides in his word about leaning on him. So, I say test him on his promises. I can say the path will truly be a blessed one. The path-steps may not be easy but you will be truly blessed.
In Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in him with all of your heart and lean not to your own understanding” Just watch him work. He will bring you through the path better then you have ever imagined. I can say your life will be even better when you trust in him. Here is another promise Romans 8:28-29” And we know that] God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Dear heavenly Father,
Today I come boldly to your throne with my readers. Praying that your words not mine shine through my blog to them. I know your path-steps are better than any path – steps that we can hope for our life. Draw all of us closer to you with all that you do in our life path. Bless each one of us (your children) no matter, where we stand with you. In our faith journey.
I love you and want to thank you for your bible verses that show us the truth of what you will do for us how you will all ways be there for us. How you are really in control of it all for your glory. No step or path will be too hard for you to make right. Thank you for it all even putting your son on the cross to bare it all for us. In Jesus name Amen!
